June Stamp Club

Do you ever feel like you always need birthday cards on hand?  This month's 3 projects for stamp club were all birthday cards! Of course, any of the greetings can be changed to fit multiple occasions.  Take a look...

Does this first project look familiar to you?!  It comes straight from the pages of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog; it is the best resource when you have stampers block. :)

The first project uses two of my favorite color combinations; old olive and melon mambo (green and pink).  I also love this stamp set, Blue Ribbon because you can layer the scallop circle with different greetings in different colors, like I did below with the Happy Birthday greeting in Old Olive ink.  Also, to add some dimension and texture to your project, use your Embossing Folders; the one I used on this project is the Square Lattice.

The second project was an insipiration from a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Kimberly Van Diepen.  She is so creative!  I switched a few things up a bit from her card.  I used the Chevron Embossing Folder for my texture;  Doesn't it remind you of tire tracks...? :)

This stamp set, Label Love, has a coordinating punch, which is a huge time saver, cause who wants to cut the shape out when you can simply punch it out!  You could use any one of these greetings for this card instead of the Happy Birthday to you.

To add some extra color around the greeting; I punched a solid shape from Coastal Cabana cardstock, then cut the shape in half, then adhered one side to the top of the gretting and the other side to the bottom...

My last project is quick and simple....and reminds me of Morocco in Epcot! :)  The Mosaic Madness stamp set and coordinating punch is NEW in the 2013-2014 Annual Catalog.  Also, the matching Embossing Folder, Modern Mosaic is new.....and what project would be complete without the NEW coordinating Designer Series Paper, Quatrefancy Specialty?!

I hope these projects inspired you to whip up a batch of birthday cards!  If you want to get your hands on some of these products, visit my stamping store 24/7 at http://kari.stampinup.net
